Inka Weisell

Inka WeisellInka has a passion for all things health-related. If you’d like to get a better understanding of a current injury or any obstacle to optimal performance, Inka can help. She will give you an explanation of the problem, as well as an evaluation of the general mobility or “movement literacy” of your body. She can clearly explain the role of nutrition, rest and exercise specifically as they apply both to your healing and improved performance.

Inka is an osteopathic therapist with a love of movement. She enjoys working with both adults and children. Her particular skill is helping her patients gain relief from previous injuries, and supporting them as they work towards preventing further injuries in sports as well as everyday activities.

Her treatment approach is very hands-on. It focuses on mobilizing muscles, joints and nerves to achieve more comfort and fluidity in movement. Inka enjoys playing biomechanical detective, and you’ll often find her connecting your current problem with pre-existing restrictions or injuries in other body areas.

She will always provide you with a home exercise program to maintain – or improve upon – the results achieved in treatment. With any injury, and especially with chronic or neurological problems, a good plan and goals for recovery are essential. Inka’s logical approach will help you develop them.

Inka received her Master’s Degree in Osteopathy with distinction from the British School of Osteopathy in London, U.K. She constantly updates her knowledge with continued education. Most recently, she completed a mentorship on Applied Functional Science with the Gray Institute.
